Other deli meats such as capicola, prosciutto, and spicy salami are perfect for using along with pepperoni for creating a meat lover’s pizza. Some other toppings to consider include caramelized onions, mushrooms, olives, and peppers.
When using several toppings including greasy meats make sure you have a thick, sturdy crust that will be able to hold everything without breaking in the middle. If you want all of the various flavors but still prefer a thinner crust, use the thinnest possible slices of meats, and then cut the vegetables in small, manageable pieces.
Pepperoni Lover’s Pizza Recipe
What You Need
1 12 inch packaged pizza crust
1 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup pepperoni slices, diced
4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
24 slices pepperoni
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
How to Make It
Preheat the oven according to the directions on the pizza crust or to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the crust onto a pizza pan and set it aside.
In a small mixing bowl combine the pizza sauce with the diced pepperoni and mix well.
Add in the grated parmesan cheese and stir to combine thoroughly.
Spread the sauce mixture on top of the crust leaving about a half inch of space near the edges.
Add the slices of pepperoni to the sauce followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake the pepperoni lover’s pizza according to the directions on the crust’s package or until the cheese is hot, bubbly and melted.
